Nursing Care at Memorial Care Center
At Memorial Care Center, our nursing staff is dedicated to meeting our patients' needs throughout the healing process and helping our patients safely return home or transition to the next step in their care.
The entire team is committed to discovering what matters most to each patient and discovering how to achieve each patient's goals. Nursing care is provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nurses' assistants, and restorative nursing assistants. Our nurses provide care that includes everything from IV therapy for antibiotics, fluid replacement, nutrition, or blood transfusions to advanced wound care and fall prevention.
Patient and Family Education
Patient and family education is another priority for our nursing staff. Whether for disease management, medications, wound care, or discharge needs, our nursing staff wants to prepare you and your family for success following discharge from rehab.
We work with our nursing and therapy staff to provide consistency in each patient's care team throughout their rehab stay. We believe this allows for a strong human connection between our staff and our patients.
Recognitions and Awards
In addition to supporting our patients through rehab, Memorial Care Center maintains an overall five-star rating as well as a five-star rating for RN staffing, the highest rating possible from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and we've been recognized consistently by U.S. News and World Report as one of America's Best Nursing Homes each year since 2009. We are also honored to be a three-time Magnet®-designated facility by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Magnet status is the ultimate benchmark for measuring quality nursing care.
